At Gonzalez Legacy Cabinetry, woodworking is more than a craft. It is a family heritage spanning more than 120 years. Passed down from artisan to artisan, our tradition of excellence has made us a trusted name in custom kitchen cabinetry and woodworking.

Founder Fernando Gonzalez, a fifth-generation master wood craftsman, began apprenticing with his father, architect Rodolfo Gonzalez Bermudez, at the age of 10. Since then, Fernando has spent over 45 years perfecting his craft—25 of them in Canada, where he has been sought after for exclusive projects in luxury homes and businesses. His dedication to quality without compromise and his ability to combine traditional European techniques with modern design have earned him a long list of satisfied clients, particularly in the realm of custom kitchen cabinetry and woodworking.​

Fernando’s expertise is more than technical—it’s personal. “My passion for my work is what drives me,” he says. “Woodwork is my life. What I value most is not only creating something beautiful, but also seeing the joy it brings to clients.” Over the years, he has shared this knowledge by training others, keeping the tradition alive for future generations.

​His career has taken him across Mexico, France, New York, Toronto, California, and Europe, where he refined his design vision and deepened his appreciation for art, architecture, and craftsmanship. Along the way, he earned certifications in Art and Design and Architectural Design, further strengthening his foundation in custom kitchen cabinetry and woodworking.​​​
